“Give every ball your all; there is no next one.”

Over eighty, with 1,388 KBO managerial wins, he still picks up a fungo bat. His dedication shows in arriving first at the ground and leaving last.

Seven batting titles in 2010 and home runs in nine straight games. After Korea, Japan and the United States, Lotte’s retired number 10 returns to the batter’s box.

The KBO’s all-time saves leader closed games in Korea, Japan and the United States. The pitcher trusted with the final out takes the ninth inning again.

A 102-win KBO foreign pitcher and 2016 league MVP. The towering pitcher who calls Korea his second home returns to the mound as a Fighter.

2,504 KBO hits over nineteen seasons with LG, where number 33 is retired. A captain’s presence endures beyond his playing career.

An unbeaten Beijing Olympic gold medal in 2008 and captain of the 2015 Premier12 champions. The national-team second baseman recorded 1,877 hits and 371 steals.

2,159 career hits across twenty seasons. A veteran whose consistency needs little embellishment: the numbers tell the story.

One hundred wins with pitches in the 130 km/h range, and eight consecutive ten-win seasons. His craft shows that pitching is about more than velocity.

Lotte’s starter threw three consecutive shutouts in 2009. The familiar presence from Friday nights at Sajik takes the first-inning mound again.

An outfielder with 1,621 career hits who also teaches as a batting coach. One person, two roles in the dugout.

Three Korean Series titles and a Golden Glove with Doosan. The hands that made difficult ground balls look routine are still at work.

A journey through Japanese baseball, Korea’s 2015 Premier12 team and KT’s bullpen. The well-travelled pitcher again faces the 18.44 metres to home plate.

The 2016 Rookie of the Year won fifteen games in his debut season. The late-blooming sidearm pitcher throws again.

The catcher sees the game from its lowest position and understands its widest view. He is the first to place trust in a pitcher’s next ball.

A .325 batting average in 2016 as a Lotte outfielder. Someone who has given an entire season everything does not forget that intensity.

Twenty-seven home runs and one hundred RBIs in 2016. A power hitter who waited through years with LG and SK knows how to wait for his pitch.

A long-time partner of manager Kim Sung-keun and a specialist in defence and baserunning. The team’s details begin with his work.

A coach who has developed players on the field and in the academy, listening and teaching among the legends.

From a Major League mound to Doosan’s rotation, then to the commentary booth. His voice gives the team’s moments another life.

The broadcaster turns the sounds of the field into sentences, describing what a moment means as well as who won.

The general manager who brought them back to the field writes the stories on thirty-four Epic card backs. Each STORY’s first card is planned to carry his handwritten autograph.
Players proving themselves with every game. Their cards begin the stories of tomorrow’s legends.
